Top of the Line Vacuum, Simply Brilliant

I was so skeptic to buy an $800+ vacuum, but since I have had over 4 vacuums in the past 2 years which costed me about the same, I decided to go all in, and I hit the jackpot. This is everything I could have ever asked for.What I love:-Comes with its own bag, so no messy canister or disposable bags to empty.-I have terrible allergies, but this comes with a built in HEPA filter that trap the dust/allergens so they are released back into the air-Huge dust bag (5.4 quarts) so I don't have to empty it every use-The dust bag also has an charcoal air filter to get rid of nasty smells-Automatic control settings!! No need to play around with buttons to get it just right, especially helpful when switching surfaces-If something gets blocked in the vacuum, it shuts of the vacuum and alerts me through a yellow/red light (the reason my last vacuum broke)-2 Indicators tell me when to change HEPA Filter and Bag-Despite it being 20+ lbs it is so well designed, it is easier to carry then my last vacuum which was 10lbs lighter-39 FOOT POWER CORD!!!-Swivel works amazing-Nice accessories such as the wand thing that adds a 15 foot reach- 7 Year Warranty for the motor, and 1 year warranty for parts/laborWhat I don't like:Heavy (but the design makes it so that it doesn't feel heavy when carrying it)This is a Top of the Line Vacuum that will last forever!!! I've had this for over a year and no sign of slowing down, and I haven't had any problems with it at all! T

Best Vacuum I've Had

Even though this vacuum is a bit heavy (22 pounds, will give you a work out!), it is the best vacuum I've found for getting up pet hair. I used an Oreck and a Bissel and then vacuumed with the Miele. I was amazed at how much dog hair came up AFTER vacuuming with the others. The bag can be a little tricky to change (illustration wasn't the best) but once you figure out how it works, it's pretty simple. The HEPA filter on this eliminates the kick back dust you get from other vacuums. My allergies have improved a great deal since switching over. Plus I find it does a fabulous job on the hardwood floors!

Without question, simply the best vacuum

I have 2 Dyson uprights which were purchased for their superior suction power. A few of us in the family have allergies so the vacuums get a good workout. I need a vacuum that is reliable and easy to use with superior cleaning. I've grown dissatisfied with the Dyson's for a number of reasons with the biggest frustration being poor ergonomics and repeated snapping of the plastic parts. After looking at several reviews I decided to get the Miele AutoEco. After just a few uses, I can say without question that this is the finest vacuum that I've ever used. Another reviewer provided a number of positive things about the vacuum, and I agree with all of them. The most surprising plus for me was the maneuverability of the machine and access to difficult places. I don't have any con's to offer. A comment was made about the weight of the unit, but it's lighter than my Dyson's and has a handle that makes lifting and moving easier. My other bagless vacs make disposal of dirt easy, but dust does reenter the air no matter how careful you are during dumping, and the filter needs to be washed every couple of months. Miele's bag design is cleaner and it seems as though they've thought through how to make bag changing easy. The only unknown is how the unit will hold up over time. I know this sounds crazy, but I actually enjoying vacuuming with my new Miele vacuum.
